body without a soul - gedig

A dark soul watches from the shadow.
It can see the body it belongs to.
Tortured, hurting, sounding a silent scream.
Watching the body, then laughs, its meaningless.

What is a body without a soul?
Why does it smile? Why does it go?
What is a body without a soul?
Why does it laugh? What does it know?

Am I even still alive?
Am I even still alive?
I'm watching, seeing, waiting.
Am I even still alive?

Deep within the body, the soul knows.
It's all the pills that create these goals.
The body does not know,
It's an artificial happiness.

The soul tries hard, to conquer the pills.
How can it find a way out?
It plants a seed inside of the body,
to rebel this artificial feeling.

What is a body without a soul?
Why does it smile? Why does it go?
What is a body without a soul?
Why does it laugh? What does it know?

Am I even still alive?
Am I even still alive?
I'm watching, seeing, waiting.
Am I even still alive?

Show them that you're still alive!
Show them that you're still alive!
They're watching, seeing, waiting.
Show them that you're still alive!
