Ik zag dit vandaag bij Oprah en het is ook al een keer bij Dr. Phil geweest.
Dit spel heet "the choking game" of de "pass-out game". Het schijnt erg populair te zijn in Amerika bij kinderen van 9 tot 14 jaar.
Het idee is dat je jezelf of anderen net zolang wurgt tot hij even bewusteloos raakt. Ze zeggen dat dit je een "high" gevoel geeft.
Ze doen dit met een touw of met hun handen.
Het lijkt misschien best wel onschuldig, maar het is vreselijk gevaarlijk. Je kunt er hersenbloedingen van krijgen en er zitten nog veel meer risico's aan vast.

of this activity's existence. Parents, officials, and law enforcement need to be educated
about the ever growing popularity of this deadly activity in order for our children to be safe.

Er zijn al vele tieners dood aan gegaan. Dit spel is echt vreselijk gevaarlijk.
Het werd ter sprake gebracht in shows als Oprah, omdat ouders er vaak gewoon niks van weten. In Oprah en Dr. Phil kwamen verschillende families voor die iemand zijn verloren door "the choking game".
