Something Has Changed...
Something has changed since yesterday...
I woke up this morning with this strange feeling, whispering inside:
hey... something has changed...
As I was standing outside, in the early morning,
I sought what could be different than yesterday.
The sun was rising up, nature was shrouded in the mist.
It was a nice sight, the kind I used to see at this time of the year...
The kind of enchanting one I love to begin my day with.
I could feel the peace of this morning,
the calm and sweet awakening of the world around.
All my senses seemed to come back to life...
Then I understood:
something had changed... but not from the outside.
Someything had changed within...
Today, as each morning, is the first day of my life.
Tomorrow I will experience something different,
but I know I will wake up with this tought whispering softly:
hey, something has changed...
And one more time, I will discover the world around me,
and a part of myself I didn't expect...
You can never know what life will bring you.
Today is the first day of my life.
I have everything to expect, everything to live.
As I watch the mountains through my window,
as I look at the rebirth of nature on this spring time,
another thought came to me:
I belong to this world.
I am a part of the whole...
Sudenly, another thought comes to me:
and if today was the first day of my life?
