Halo 2 is amper uit, maar als we Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer mogen geloven is men ook al geruime tijd met de opvolger, Halo 3 bezig. Ballmer heeft dit vorig jaar oktober tijdens de lancering van Office System 2003 bekend gemaakt. Nu kraamt Ballmer geregeld onzin uit en is dit bericht al vrij stoffig, toch geeft het wel stof tot nadenken, aangezien de CEO van MS wel laat weten dat men ook met de opvolger van de Xbox bezig iets, iets wat inderdaad waar is. Het zou dan ook best kunnen dat Halo 3 een van de debuut titels voor de tweede Xbox wordt.
