My lament.

Trying to express what I feel,
Yet the words simply don't suffice.
Attempting to describe the pain,
But I am incapable of writing a matching description.
For words nor speech can fully catch this cold and emptyness combined with nothingness.
The pain, the touch, the sorrow, the kiss, the tears, the love, the disappointment, the joy, the despair, the life, the death of a heart...
Can't call that name...
Nor can I stop this broken compass,
That still points to you being north,
The ruins of this heart that still say you are home,
A soul that undergoes futile attempts to get rid of you,
But still secretly wishes that you were here...
Days become lonely eons now that the inner void becomes bigger while thinking back so remorsefully,
And the end of us and the accompanying silence sounds like deafening screams to me..
Everywhere I see loving couples even when I look away,
And almost everything suddenly relates to something of you, even further jaundicing my day...
Its like a nightmare haunting you somehow,
Something thats always one step behind you now..
These are weak reflections of my inner laments, my cries,
An ungoing struggle that never stops and even continues after daylight dies..

Words... simply don't suffice...
