Shooting Star

Did you see it, yesterday?
Did you see it, up in the sky?
Did you turn your head anyway?
Didn't you have time to watch it pass by?

I saw it alright
A beautiful shooting star
Kept on waiting for another one all night;
Thought it couldn’t be too far

There wasn’t another
But I had the pleasure of seeing at least this
The fact that you didn’t even bother
Is like saying “no” to a kiss

A kiss;
Is a expression of a unique feeling, you see?
It’s a shame to miss
Because the same it will never be.

There may be worse,
There may be better
But the sight of its force
Can’t be described in any letter
Why didn’t you take time then?
Just a second or ten
We could have shared the star in our hearts
Now we remember different parts
I see that beautifull star, when I remember yesterday
